After looking at quite a range of places to live, we settled for a nice two-bedroom bungalow near Leon’s work and about a 30-minute walk from the dead centre of Vientiane, on the bank of the Mekong. Our landlords are also our neighbours, owning the house and shop attached to our bungalow. Après avoir visité plusieurs types d’habitation, nous avons décidé d’emménager dans cette maison, qui se situe près du travail de Leon et à environ 30 minutes à pied du centre de Vientiane. Nos propriétaires sont également nos voisins… ils possèdent la maison et le magasin accolés à « notre » maison.
