We spent a week at the Mali Namphu guesthouse, whilst searching for a house. We befriended 2 lovely people who work there: Air and Touy. They have both been extremely helpful in finding our way around the city, introducing us to Lao food, and teaching us lao. On a trip around town looking at houses with Air, Leon even went to the temple for the first time. Leon also started work during that week and now has his very own business cards and a 1-year Lao ID card! At the end of the week, we moved out of the guesthouse and into our new house. Nous avons passé une semaine à Mali Namphu guesthouse, le temps de chercher une maison. Nous avons fait la connaissance de deux personnes très sympathiques qui y travaillent : Air et Touy. Tous les deux nous ont beaucoup aidé pour nous repérer dans la ville, nous faire gouter à la nourriture lao, et nous apprendre quelques bases de lao. Lors d’un tour de la ville à la recherche d’une maison avec Air, Leon est allé au temple pour la première fois. Pendant cette semaine, Leon a également commencé à travailler et il a maintenant des cartes de visite à son nom, ainsi qu’une carte d’identité lao pour un an !
A la fin de la semaine, nous avons quittés la guesthouse et avons emménagé dans notre nouvelle maison. Les photos seront bientôt là.
